To evaluate the effects of dual COX/5-LOX inhibition in a GEM model of PDAC on the inflammation acquired during tumor progression in the absence of cerulein treatment to mimic the natural scenario of disease progression in human, we used p48Cre/+-LSL-KrasG12D/+ mice, in which Cre recombinase activates the KrasG12D oncogene specifically in the pancreas. This evidence concerns the gene ALOX5 and neoplasm.
