Overexpression of serum protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC), a biomarker for albumin bound paclitaxel, was seen in 35.9% of the cases, especially in over 60% of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) and chondrosarcoma (notably conventional chondrosarcoma), as well as 48.7% of angiosarcomas. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and angiosarcoma.
