A panel of five prostate cancer cell lines, VCaP, DU-145, PC-3, LNCaP and 22RV1, characterized by different expression levels of the androgen receptor (AR) and T2E gene fusion, and non-malignant RWPE-1 prostate cells (Supplementary Figure S1) was analyzed for the expression of different components of the IGF system. This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and prostate carcinoma.
