Compared to 6 h levels, BMP2 expression decreased over time in the presence of IL-17A and TNF-α in OA FLS (1 vs. 0.68 vs. 0.16-fold decrease at 6, 12, and 24 h, respectively), while it started decreasing at 24 h in RA FLS (1.8-fold with IL-17A + TNF-α at 6 and 12 h vs. 0.42-fold with TNF-α + IL-17A at 24 h) (Figure 3A). Here, IL17A is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
