As stated earlier, the current study is mainly focused on the Y chromosome AZFc subdeletions that reduces the overall dosage between 1.6 – 1.8 Mb of the AZFc genes (DAZ, CDY and BPY copies) and global studies suggests that these deletions results in infertility, which vary according to ethnicity and geographic location. The gene discussed is CDY1; the disease is Infertility.
