PGR and neoplasm: Expression was significantly higher in tumours from women who responded to hormone therapy than in tumours from those who did not (oestrogen receptor: P=0.000, Mann–Whitney U test, Z=−3.555; progesterone receptor: P=0.000, Mann–Whitney U test, Z=−3.601; and TFF1: P=0.000, Mann–Whitney U test, Z=−4.758), but the magnitude of the differences between those who responded and those who did not was smaller than that for TFF3 (Kruskal–Wallis II test P=0.003, P=0.001 and P=0.001 respectively).
