DSG1 and coronary artery disorder: To further explore the relevance of autoantibody levels as risk factor, we manually entered in the previous model the “autoantibody” variable and found the HRs for: anti-Dsg1 autoantibodies ≥ 100 U/mL 2.73 [0.92 – 8.13], p = 0.072; age of onset (years) 1.11 [1.05 – 1.17], p < 0.001; and presence of coronary heart disease at diagnosis 4.21 [1.38 – 12.83], p = 0.011.
