We have recently reported a promoter ChIP-on-chip analysis demonstrating that, in cervix carcinoma C33 cells, CHD8 binds around 2000 active promoters also enriched in H3K4me2 and H3K4me3, and that it is required for expression of E2F-dependent G1/S transition genes [17]. This evidence concerns the gene CHD8 and cervical carcinoma.
