In this study, significantly up-regulated expressions of Wnt1, FZD1-4, GSK3β, CTNNB1 and Cyclin D1, as well as increase in phosphorylation of GSK3β and decrease of β-catenin were observed in the radioresistant esophageal cancer KYSE-150R cells, implicating the activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene WNT1 and esophageal cancer.
