QRT-PCR results showed that the mRNA expression level of TNFAIP2 was up-regulated in 5 glioma cell-lines compared to 5 normal brain samples (Figure 2B), and highly expressed in 81 glioma tissues (WHO grade I, 2 cases; II, 27 cases; III, 24 cases; and IV, 28 cases) compared to non-neoplastic brain tissues (Figure 2A, Table 2).
