It is worthy to note that the infection of BCG did not lead a reduction of cellular GSH content in RAW264.7 cells, suggesting that the increased GSH content induced by Wnt3a might not the solo mechanism for elimination of BCG-induced ROS, despite the Wnt-induced intracellular GSH showed an ability to eliminate the BCG-induced ROS in this study. This evidence concerns the gene WNT3A and infection.
