CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: The bivariate correlation analyses showed that the response to RA treatment and the clinical remission after 12-month from RA diagnosis were associated with baseline vitamin D status (Spearman’s coefficient 0.45, p = 0.006; Spearman’s coefficient 0.55, p < 0.001, respectively) and did not correlate with age, gender, BMI, CRP, ESV, DAS28, ACPA and RF positivity at the time of RA diagnosis.
