MBL2 and tuberculosis: Our study revealed that the promoter -221(Y/X, rs7096206) mutation of the MBL genes is associated with susceptibility to TB, and the TB risk of heterozygote GC(YX) is higher than that of wild-type homozygous CC(YY) (OR = 1.393, P < 0.05), which are consistent with the findings of a Brazilian study [22].
