Our three primary objectives were: (1) to systematically evaluate the performance of public signatures and validation datasets in the prediction of breast cancer prognosis, (2) to analyze the association between predicted and actual treatment responses (pCR/RD/DRFS), and (3) to assess the predictive value of a signature for taxane-anthracycline sensitivity in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HER2-) breast cancer. Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast cancer.
