Fibulin-3 was initially found to exert antiangiogenic effect [45], but in recent years, some studies had reported that fibulin-3 could promote angiogenesis, especially in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and cervical cancer, they found that fibulin-3 gene transfection elevated VEGF expression and microvessel density [17,18]. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
