Our results are also comparable to Chaudhari et al. who reported that hydroalcoholic extract of the plant leaves (100 and 200 mg/kg) normalized the levels of SGOT, SGPT, ALP, total bilirubin and prevented steatosis, centrilobular necrosis and vacuolization in liver of carbon tetrachloride induced liver damage in rats [35]. Here, GOT1 is linked to steatosis.
