CYP3A5 and ovarian carcinoma: In 93 patients with ovarian cancer, Bergmann et al. observed an 11% reduction in paclitaxel clearance in carriers of the rs10509681 (1196A > G) variant G-allele in CYP2C8 [16], whereas Leskelä et al. observed a correlation between neurotoxicity and these CYP2C8 and CYP3A5 variants in a study consisting of 118 patients [25].
