Taking into account that, on one hand, the centrality of genes in molecular networks is strongly correlated to their essentiality and, on the other hand, that the removal of non-coding genes such as miRNAs can exert a strong effect on the phenotype of a higher organism such as mice, we think that SNORA40, miR-20b, miR-331-5p and miR-1124-5p are the best candidates to be considered as therapeutic target ncRNAs in MS. This evidence concerns the gene SNORA40 and myeloid sarcoma.
