TNF and graft versus host disease: The major findings of the current study can be summarized as follows: 1) Fullerol treatment ameliorated the clinical signs of GVHD and improved survival; less hepatic damage was associated with decreased hepatic levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ and chemokines, including CCL2, CCL3 and CCL5, reactive oxygen species, and leukocyte accumulation was reduced in the mice with experimental GVHD that were treated with fullerol.
