SATB1 protein content in both tumor and unchanged tissue samples of CRC patients was significantly higher than the amount of SATB1 protein in colonic biopsies of the healthy group (6.23 ± 0.86 and 5.42 ± 0.89 vs. 1.00 ± 0.13, respectively; P < 0.0001; Fig. 2). Here, SATB1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
