EWSR1 and myxoid liposarcoma: The presence of EWS-CHOP fusion gene in the myxoid liposarcoma with the round cells indicates that the N-terminal group of the FUS gene can be replaced by the N-terminal group of EWS gene, which has as a result a CHOP protein (oncoprotein) fusion and the fact that the two N-terminal groups, when the fusion and result highlight certain transcription factors, have a similar oncogene potential.
