The data demonstrate that AA BC patients have significantly higher levels of resistin (18.788 ± 1.76 ng/ml) as well as IL-6 (4.51 ± 1.07 pg/ml) as compared to that in their CA counterparts (7.33 ± 0.56 ng/ml and 0.88 ± 0.48 pg/ml, respectively) (Fig. 1B and 1C).
