While the CYP1B1 level was weak or not detected in most of the normal tissues, majority of RCC tissue samples showed moderate or strong CYP1B1 immunoreactivity with average staining scores of 2.10 ± 0.11 (versus 0.60 ± 0.20 in normal tissues) (Fig. 3A and B). The gene discussed is CYP1B1; the disease is renal cell carcinoma.
