We screened for mutations in a selected panel of genes (NPM1, CEPBA, FLT3, NRAS, KRAS, PTPN11, KIT and WT1) that were previously shown to associate with outcome in AML [11,18] in both the initial and corresponding relapse AML samples; results are shown in S1 Table. The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
