DNA methylation within the APC, CCNA, CDH1, CDH13, DAPK1, FHIT, RARB, SLIT2, TIMP3, and WIF1 genes, each of which has previously been shown to be a target for aberrant DNA methylation in cervical cancer[2], was quantified by pyrosequencing. The gene discussed is RARB; the disease is cervical cancer.
