Our results showed that IRAK1 (P = 1.04 × 10−7), the targets of miR-146a, MAPKBP1 (P = 10.44 × 10−7) and CASP6 (P = 0.001), targets of miR-106b, were down-regulated, whereas MAP2K6 (P = 5.30 × 10−5), target of miR-194-5p, was up-regulated in epilepsy patients compared with normal controls. The gene discussed is IRAK1; the disease is epilepsy.
