From the studies included in this meta-analysis, we were unable to determine whether E-cadherin expression in sarcoma was associated with any additional clinicopathological features, such as differentiation, recurrence, metastasis or grade; however, it has been established previously that the absence of E-cadherin expression in sarcomas is significantly correlated with poorer differentiation [17], higher grade [13] and earlier metastasis [31] in sarcomas.
