The rs2074379 (G→A) and rs2074388 (G→A) SNPs of the α-kinase 1 gene (ALPK1) (dominant model) as well as rs6929846 (T→C) of BTN2A1 (dominant model) were found to be significantly associated with the prevalence of CKD. This evidence concerns the gene BTN2A1 and chronic kidney disease.
