Recently, mutations in epigenetic regulators (CDKN2B and DNMT3A) and RNA splicing pathway members (SF3B1, U2AF1, ZRSR2, and SRSF2) were recurrently observed in MDS BM hematopoietic cells, and these mutations may be related to the biology and prognosis of MDS [45,46]. Here, SRSF2 is linked to myelodysplastic syndrome.
