The previous study on genetic variants in the vitamin D pathway and pancreatic cancer risk based in Canada showed significant p-values for SNPs in the CASR, CYP24A1, CYP2R1, DHCR7, and LRP2 genes (p-values ranged from 0.011–0.050), but after adjustment for multiple comparisons none of the associations remained significant [13].
