We further explored the combination of PKR and p-AMPK expression in cells from NSCLC patients and observed that expression of p-AMPK predicts a worse prognosis in adenocarcinoma patients with high PKR levels, whereas expression of p-AMPK predicts a better prognosis in adenocarcinoma patients with low levels of PKR. Here, EIF2AK2 is linked to adenocarcinoma.
