Importantly, recent studies retrospectively analyzing the relationships between clinicopathological features and tumor stroma VASH1 expression from cancer patients have further indicated that VASH1 is a novel prognosis molecular marker in various cancers, including in breast cancer [19], renal cell carcinoma [20, 21], lung cancer [22], upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma [23], and hepatocellular carcinoma [24, 25]. The gene discussed is VASH1; the disease is lung carcinoma.
