As shown in Table 4, in the Javanese population, allele distributions at the ERAP1-127, ERAP1-528 and ERAP1-730 loci were significantly associated with altered cervical carcinoma risk (P = 0.042, 0.032 and 0.031, respectively); presence of the minor allele at these loci was associated with decreased cancer risk. This evidence concerns the gene ERAP1 and cancer.
