The multivariate analysis showed that the prevalence of HPV16/18-DNA detected in anal specimens increased 1.9-fold for each half log10 increase in FT (PR = 1.90 (95% CI: 1.11, 3.24)), even after controlling for age, race, cumulative years of exogenous testosterone use, self-reported lifetime number of sexual partnerships, BMI, tobacco smoking, HIV-infection and CD4+ T-cell count, among the HIV-infected men, and the timing of blood draws (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and HIV infectious disease.
