The significant haplotype of DROSHA gene, formed by rs3805500-rs7735863-rs6884823 (AGG), was associated with increased risk (OR = 1.63; 95% CI: 1.17–2.27), while the haplotype of DGCR8 composed by rs9606248-rs1640299 (AT) was found to confer a significant reduced risk (OR = 0.67; 95% CI: 0.49–0.91) of developing CLL. The gene discussed is DROSHA; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
