LEP and hypertensive disorder: Compared to those without CKD, those with CKD were primary/below educated, non-drinkers, had higher prevalence of diabetes, hypertension, and CVD and also had higher levels of BMI, random plasma glucose, HbA1c, serum adiponectin and leptin levels and lower levels of diastolic BP, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
