CD70 was detected on few Ewing sarcoma cells (5/15) and was virtually absent from neuroblastoma and rhabdomyosarcoma cells, indicating that CD70 expression is restricted to certain cancer types like renal cell carcinoma and osteosarcoma and to a lesser extent brain cancers, larynx or pharynx cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, ovarian carcinoma and Ewing sarcoma [6,7,20,24-26]. The gene discussed is CD70; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
