We evaluated the effect of BSN and paclitaxel on constitutive phospho-STAT3 level in NSCLC tumor tissues by immunohistochemical analysis and found that BSN and paclitaxel alone significantly downregulated the expression of phospho-STAT3 in tumor tissues compared with the control group, and the combination of these two was significantly more effective (Fig. 7A, upper panels). This evidence concerns the gene STAT3 and neoplasm.
