Further, we found at baseline significantly higher levels of IP-10 in TB patients with “high symptom score” than in patients with “low symptom score” both in plasma [483 pg/ml (115–1367) vs. 128 pg/ml (67–326), p = 0.005] and in DPS [88 pg/2discs (37–244) vs. 45 pg/2discs (2–82), p = 0.010] (Fig. 4B).
