Regarding the hematologic and biochemical parameters in acute stroke, hyperglycemia (blood sugar [BS] >150 mg/dl) [20], higher serum uric acid level [21,22], C-reactive protein (CRP) level [23], white blood cell (WBC) count [17], and lower hemoglobin (Hgb) level [24] were found to be predictors for bad outcome or death of ICH.
