To examine if the PI3K activator peptide can modulate GSK3β phosphorylation, we took advantage of a PI3K previously characterized activation peptide (PTD4-PI3KAc; [29]) (see Material and Methods) and quantified the levels of p-S473AKT and p-S9GSK3β [10], on SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cell line cultures. The gene discussed is GSK3B; the disease is neuroblastoma.
