Transient transfection of miR-200c reduced both formin homology domain-containing protein 1 (FHOD1) and Mg2+/Mn2+-dependent protein phosphatase 1F (PPM1F) levels, and inhibition of the miR-200b/c/429 cluster in MCF7 breast cancer cells increased FHOD1 and PPM1F levels. Here, FHOD1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
