To determine whether altering actin cytoskeleton dynamics could directly affect EMT we treated six metastatic human cancer cell lines (prostate Du145, breast MDA-MB-231 and MBA-MB-435, glioma U251 and U87 and fibrosarcoma HT-1080) with the actin depolymerising agent Cyt D.
