While the in vitro expression of GTPase regulatory genes favored the reduced growth rate and the inactivation of small GTPases (Fig. 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, and 4f), the level of mRNA expression of GEF, GAP, and GDI genes in vivo isolated tumors was reversed (Fig. 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f, 5g, and 5h) supporting the observation of low SOD3 level induced increased rate of tumor growth (Fig. 5b) [5].
