To determine the roles of ZBRK1 expression on renal cancer development and progression, we examined the mRNA level of ZBRK1 in 5 paired renal cancer tissue and tumor adjacent renal tissue specimens, and in a panel of 6 renal cell lines including 5 cancerous cell lines (ACHN, 786-O, OS-RC-2, CaKi-1 and SN12PM6) and control cell line HK-2 (human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell) using quantitative PCR analysis. This evidence concerns the gene ZNF350 and renal carcinoma.
