CBFA2T3 and cancer: Based on our data suggesting that CBFA2T3 is a potential target of miR-27a and miR-27a* and the fact that CBFA2T3 is genetically altered and/or has tumor suppressive properties in different cancer types [22–31], we decided to address a possible tumor suppressive role of CBFA2T3 in osteosarcomagenesis.
