We found that the WS subjects exhibited greater expression of OXTR (M = 10.22, SD = 0.68) compared to CNTLs (M = 7.86, SD = 1.79) (t = 3.51, p = 0.003, 95% Confidence Interval = 0.93–3.81) (Figure 1A). Here, OXTR is linked to Werner syndrome.
