AURKB and glioblastoma: We selected the Aurora B inhibitor AZD1152-HQPA for our studies as we had previously demonstrated that it had activity in brain and flank xenografts of human glioblastoma cells.[4] A series of drug concentrations was used to assess the lowest concentration of drug that could inhibit MB cell proliferation in UW228 and UW426 cells (Fig. 2A).
