The best cutoff values for MDK and AFP to discriminate HCC cases from those with liver cirrhosis were 0.387 and 88.5 ng/mL, respectively, with sensitivities (92.5 versus 40%), specificities (83.3 versus 96.7%), and accuracies (88.5 versus 68.2%), respectively.
