MTHFR and Alzheimer disease: Then associations of Paclitaxel-MTHFR-“Alzheimer Disease”, can be further validated by literatures as follows, 1) Paclitaxel enhanced the inhibition of MTHFR by antisense or small molecules, which decreases tumor growth [28]; 2) The severity and biochemical risk factors of Alzheimer’s disease may be influenced by the MTHFR 677 T allele in an Egyptian population [29] and the association between MTHFR A1298C polymorphisms as a possible risk factor and Alzheimer’s disease was verified [30].
